Intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH) is a commonly acute and critical disease in neurology department. Primary injury and secondary injury can be formed after it occurs, causing severely neurologic deficits and brain damage. In defense to the injury ,the brain activate repair mechanisms like polarization of microglial and autophagy, which aims to maintain internal environment homeostasis of central nervous system by inhibiting injury and promoting repair. However, the endogenous repair has certain limitations. It’s particularly important to motivate the function of inhibiting injury and promoting repair by exogenous intervention. In recent years, Chinese medicine treatment of ICH draws widely attention due to their characteristics of multi-target, multi-channel and multi-link. To explore the dual mechanism of TCM intervention after ICH, which can motivate the function of inhibiting injury and promoting repair, is helpful to further clarify and improve the clinical efficacy of TCM in the treatment of ICH.
